Feynman Is a Man Can't Learn What He Doesn't Know
I think with Feynman he was willing to constantly question himself so even if his pure kind of mental horsepower wasn't at the top I mean he's definitely much above average he could memorize things. He always had heuristics and approximations and so he was able to sort of use his set of tricks and be willing to absorb new ones or just sort of apply them without getting his ego involved. A lot of his success came from really accepting what made him comfortable and working with that versus trying to conform himself to systems that would that were essentially inefficient for him.
