The Cost of Being Public in Micro Caps

I don't think we're seeing a lot of this stuff in the space now in my account, like take over and merge and stuff. I do think strategics are really the only game in town for exits currently. The cost of capital, particularly on the banks, failing spring back to the first thing: It's tough to get 35 million as loans. So for a lot of micro caps to exit, even if it makes sense for them to go private, the cost of being public is too high. And there's a lot of great businesses that emerge from that little neck of the woods.
