The Dodgy Politics of Austria
T-Mobile Austria says it does not store customer passwords in plaintext. Customer service reps need to know that you know your own password, so they can only see the first four characters of a user's name. Anything after that may be asterisked out or something. The story started with an innocent enough question on Twitter last week.
