Is Uric Acid a Cause of Hypertension?
A Brazilian scientist raised the blood pressure of a rat by raising its uric acid. She found kidney function didn't change much, and inflammation was subtle. So she went back repeated the experiment to see if it could be controlled with drugs like alper or all other types of drugs. And then we realized that we needed to do controls where we lowered the uric acid alike in both studies. It suggests that we might have found a cause of high pretension.
