Dolly Was in a Mental Fog

Dr. Walter Freeman gave Dolly a transorbital lobotomy, severing the brain pathways in the frontal lobes. The boy survived and went on to live a full life but first he suffered through years of homelessness, mental illness, and a deep confusion as a result of the damage done to him. But one cannot help it read his story and wonder how much less painful his life might have been if a shit heal doctor hadn't driven an ice pick into his fucking brain.
