I think within the double empathy theory, you may be more naturally attracted to potentially other neurodivergent people. Privilege doesn't mean that you have never had any issues or problems in your life. It just means that this particular area that you experience privilege in isn't an added problem or an added barrier for you. So yeah, the skill development aspect of it is huge. I would say the majority of my friendships that are like long lasting friendships are with other psychologists who are neurodivergence.
