The crisis of the imperial West is actually about the fact that it's flailing around unable to stop the tide or stem the tide whatever you want to say. The Chinese have lived up to their promise more than any English or American corporation or German corporation ever has way more well because they've managed to retain large elements of socialist system within China. I think the US ruling classes so degenerate when it comes to something like Taiwan they'll try and get the Japanese to act as their bullet stoppers for them, says Peter Bergen.
