Search Comparative Analysis of Web Search Behavior Using Web Tracking Data

Researchers used web tracking data from users who agreed to participate in the project. They were looking at how people search for information online and what they click on. Previous studies had been based on eye tracking or log records, which is not as ecological a way of measuring behavior. The researchers hope their research will shed new light on this aspect of internet use.
