The diameter of our galaxy is hundred thousand light years. You can't travel across it, unless you figuret out a way to warp space and time. O so in that warp in principle, on paper, you can have a hole that you pass through and just come out the other side,. And if you did it right, you can show up at another time. But let's just make your time line continuous with yourself. That's the most classical invocation of a wormfull.
What is a wormhole, really? On this episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson and comic co-host Chuck Nice explore things you thought you knew about the physics of falling objects, white noise, and wormholes. Why do things break when they fall?
