Many meat based alternatives can be higher in fibre and lower in saturated fat - but their salt content tends to be higher than the animal equivalent which is bad. So i'm talking about going to the super market and trying to find a plant base burger,. A plant baise sausage, to put on your barbecue, for example.
Vegan diets are increasingly popular. As more of us reduce our animal product consumption, countless new meat and dairy alternatives appear on our supermarket shelves. Manufacturers market these products as healthy options (unsurprisingly), but perhaps we shouldn’t be so quick to trust them…
