The End of the First Amendment

If these things are allowed to stand, the First Amendment will be utterly devoid of meaning. This is state actors telling people what they can and cannot say. In a self-governing republic, what could be more damaging than that? I want to go back to my earlier point that throughout our history, states the federal government have passed many laws that are stupid and people just ignore them. They're not enforced. How serious are these laws? Take New York's, for example, illegal alien. Are they serious about this? Do you think this will actually be enforced?
