The Importance of Communication

When there was a knock on the bedroom door I reacted with a jolt. My husband's voice on the other side calmed me down though. They told me that he didn't answer the door. He was trembling when I unlocked the door to let him in. His face was pale. We have since been in no contact with his parents for almost two years now and our daughter is growing in a loving environment free of that toxicity. In the meantime, they have so far made no attempts to contact us with an apology or anything. Instead they once reached out with the nasty of a terrible anniversary. You two were the worst match for each other ever.
