The Nature of Experimental Philosophy and Intuition

In the last 10 to 15 years, there's been significant interest in research involving the scientific or empirical investigation of intuitions. The verification project aims to determine if propositions which philosophers allege to be intuitive are actually intuitive to ordinary non-philosophers. Source and variation projects aim to discover psychological mechanisms that produce people's intuitions. For present purposes, what I have given suffices.
