The Importance of Passion in Architecture

I think that I just was like, oh, I like drawing. What, what profession draws an artist? Oh, I can't be an artist. It's not a real job. So I'm going to be an architect because architects draw and presumably you use math too - which is completely untrue by the way. But I thought somehow that would be like a reasonable profession to go into without really having any passion for buildings or the built environment. And so my relationships transformed into a very, it's a very healthy thing. We're actually interested in the built world, creating things that are functional,. That are really solving problems and learning about a lot of technical things."
