The Big Rise of Reinforcement Learning

The big rise of reinforcement learning, I think, began with the solution of Go. Google came along or companies that they bought and made an algorithm that could play Go. Then it went to other games where reinforcement learning was used to control the game without knowing the rules. And we still wanna take this some steps further. We wanna be able to program the machines by its own.
