Even just that small change in your sleep from one night to the next, we could mea predicted how lonely you would experience life the next day. The study of two thousand and seven were we, again, sort of sleep deprived people, put them inside an emery skunner,. We showed them increasingly negative and aversive and unpleasant images. And what we saw is that, relative to people who'd got a full night of sleep, the amigdla, this sort of a emotional epi centre for the neration of strong, emotional, impulsive reactions was 60 % more reactive under conditions of a lack of sleep.
