In Search of Darkness, Part Two

There are some things in the eighties that i think relevant to this conversation, but so much of it is so known and understood. Am i overlooking any key movies from that time that really pushed the boundaries? I'm sure i could just come up with ten eighties things, but, you know, that would just be slashers and wonderful films like that that i enjoy. But for whatever reason, it was like the culture was just ready and less anksty. And within a decade, the industry has seen there is money to be made in this. So th the pipe line for these things is now very clean.
