How to Measure Giftedness?
i tried out for the gifted group in third grade and didn't make it. It was crushing, cause i watched three of my friends go into the gifted reading group,. And that was actually a pretty big wound for me that lasted for a while. There are different ways to measure giftedness; traditional ic test is not an fully accurate measure. When we don't look at giftedness or we we kind of reject that label, we're saying that you're learning differences, and the way that you could best be supported don't count as much o I amont i cand to throw that out there, but it's a superdmacutive word.
