Are We Going to Have Children?
Degeros says we should refrain from having children because there are no good reasons for procreation. But he recognizes that asking people not to have children period is largely impractical. He spents a lot of time talking about how we can live antinatally in a natalis culture. Degeros: Parents without realizing it, replicate a lot of their childhood drama through their own children. Their parenting style ends up being ultimately an unconscious critique of the parenting style of their parents. And my favourite point that he brings up is that actually, nobody should be having children before they're 30.
