The Short Stories That I Remember the Most

Short stories were the ones that pierced my brain the mostiv like, what is happening? Why did i read this? Typically and i guess it's probably a sign of a great book. So those twoe short stories stick with me the most. From high school, i do love a good novella so like harsm callars has a couple of really good short novellas. I also read of my soe men in middle school and cried for three days. Very much. But i do love steinbeck as well, who was not necessarily a southern gothic, but was kind of in that time frame.
