One of the criticisms hat, at least in my opinion, is giving an incomplete description of their procedures. I suspect these are sins of omission or something along those lines. So sometimes information is withheld on purpose. This is seen most often when developing models coming from industry. There were a few papers we reviewed written by corporations that were developing models for cove 19 detection,. And a lot of those corporations are unable to share their code because of hype reasons and this makes reproducability very difficult.
