Hinduism - Isn't It a Lot of Gods and Goddesses?

i think obviously, we religion does get a bad rap. And i feel like that's, again, self inflicted. Hinduism doesn't prescribe multiple gods and goddesses. But the gods are given figures, faces so that people can relate to them. So no one' saying that you find an elephant god walking the earth now,. but it's, it helps you relating to them. I think, i think it's easy too. It's easy to like, shut it off. There was no machines to scan your brain, bu all these principles for a calm human life. It its so necessary to know.
