What I Learned in a Crisis

When the crisis happened, i went to first principles. I wrote out a series of principles and presented them on march fifteenth. We ended up losing 80 % of our business in eight weeks. And we, for the first time since we started, started shrinking as a company. It's kind of like driving a car 80 miles an hour and an hitting the brakes like it kind of ends - usually very badly. So those are the principles. The next thing i learned was, you saly have to communicate four times as frequently as not in a crisis. You can't just cut our way down to the bone, but we have nothing left to rebound. Then it became important to make decisions
