At the end of chapter 19, God says Israel will be third with Egypt and Assyria. He goes on to say, blessed be Egypt my people in Assyria, the work of my hands,. And you think, wait, records scratch? Are you serious? The stories about what the Assyrians would do to all their enemies was just overwhelming.
