The Chinese call it the sin, sin, the heart mind. We often call it the intuitive mind. It has a very different message and a different way of knowing the universe. An example that I often, that stands out so vividly to me was teaching a course at St. John the Divine in New York maybe five years ago,. And there are about 200 students who were required to go out into the community and do service.
