Proverbs - A Narrative Approach

Taking a narrative approach to proverbs has been the hardest, you know, next to Ecclesiastes or the Psalms. I think what I liked about it is there's a freedom just to deal with the sayings, which was my real joy. And then in the pastoral section, you can say, well, look, we have a whole 2,000 year history and Jewish history of saying, okay, now we can think about where this fits in the history of Jewish thought and Christian redemption.
