Plato's Dialogue

i think we mostly agree that i can both see all kinds of things that are worth redeeming in this text. But eventually i'm just going to have to start criticising. You can trace a direct line from some of the things he says in the dialogue to some of the worst political ideas that are out there to day. So even if socrates is trolling us in this particular dialogue, it's hard to let him off the hook for things that he's doing in every other one of these dialogues. It they're not the standard ways of holding this texta kind of better remove r looking at it critically.
