We will be living much more within our cities and within the four 500 metrs of our homes. We will see ourselves as consumers engaging with many more british companies than we currently do. And i think it will start to feel distinctly different, because there won't be so many petrel cars on the road. There'll be lots of weird looking electric, smart, electric buggies that we don't really have words for in ten years time.

We are entering the Exponential Age. Between faster computers, better software and bigger data, ours is the first era in human history in which technology is constantly accelerating. Azeem Azhar - writer, technologist, and creator of the acclaimed Exponential View newsletter - understands this shift better than anyone.
