Morale-levale lesions are rare, but important closed, de-gloving injuries. More than 75% occur around the greater trochanter, thigh, pelvis, gluteal regions. The diagnosis is usually suspected based on a history of trauma and clinical findings. Once it's diagnosed, it does really require a surgical opinion.
