I think I'm a semi public intellectual and a fully public CEO. And then I also have a fully private part of my life. Maybe being a semi public figure is a way to balance the need for total honesty on the one hand, with the sense of discretion on the other. In terms of like status, I'm quite happy with where I am right now, but I definitely feel that I would need to work much more on the things that I write.
