The Problem With Spring Annotations

In spring, a lot of the programming ends up being in annotations. And to me, that's not the best programming model because I want to program in a language. Zio is just Scala. There, you know, I'm not using some other language to write this thing. Whereas in spring, I'm really writing two different languages. I'm writing annotations, which is not Java.
