The Effects of Radiation on a Large Population
An organization called the atomic bomb casualty commission was founded in 1946 to study the effects of the atomic bomb. The original test subjects were mostly children and young adults. These subjects participated in examinations that usually occurred under harsh fluorescent lights. They were always forced to strip down naked so the scientists could study every aspect of possible ill effects.
