i want a good curriculum to teach students that thinking is hard work, but it's superimportant. And if you turn away from hard work because it's hard, you will not do the really important stuff. We need to train people who are willing to do the hard work of realizing how powerful these skills are and learning what it means to use them mercifully and justly. i think this move starts a gesture towards a more robust kind of critical pedagogy. But she needs to do more.
