Carbon Credits Can Help Scale Up Existing Technologies
In theory, carbon credits should help us achieve more omissions reductions than we could achieve otherwise. They facilitate fast, low cost mitigation and they can often move money from high to low income countries. Some experts say we need a robust carbon crediting system to have a chance of holding global temperature rise to one point or two degrees Celsius.
