The appeal of no sequel was more I can shove anything I want into it rather than necessarily this does not scale. And now we see going back to sequel, at least I have impression that we are back to that's not so important anymore. So why not use MySQL or Postgres or something like that? To be fair, the sequel databases today, they may share the same names as they did two decades ago but they've come so, so far, right?
