The Importance of Realignment in the Democratic Party
Realignment starts making its appearance in the later 50s, particularly after JFK's elected. Now he's starting to do early work in the Democratic Party in New York with the village and the pennant Democrats. And by like 1962, 63, he's really pushing this, because he didn't support JFK in 1960, but he was big on LBJ in 1964.
