The Book of Ezekiel Is Full of Symbolism

The book starts with this kind of this really interesting vision that Ezekiel receives. It's probably not one that is familiar to us, it's full of symbolism. And so I think it's important that we take some time kind of trying to unpack this a little bit because it really is going to introduce things that are going to pop up again later on in the book as we go. As you look through chapter one, by my count at least, there's 14 times in one chapter where it's referring to the likeness. What Ezekiel is seeing is like something or the likeness of it.
