Governments that are more oriented towards big state have a tendency to control. I was surprised even to learn the extent to which most stablecoins today can be censored through court injunction and order. Even with things like MEV, you're seeing the ability for more centralized actors to be coerced. So all these things kind of point towards a more centralized, less resistant, more easily censored, more easily state captured, open meta list.
