The President's Decision to Declassify Donald Trump's Nuclear Weapon Design System
Because it's classified under the Atomic Energy Act, rather than through executive orders, it can't have been declassified by Trump. The mechanism for declassification in there is completely different, right? It is laid out by statute. So this idea that the president could have just picked a process out of thin air or he could have just declared it to be declassified...that certainly could not have applied to this particular document.
