The new approach moves BAM beyond just being a white label service provider, putting them in position to become an ESPN of the internet age. The Verge says this is something that they were working on kind of for many years. And Bowman himself is actually quoted as saying, we knew we wanted BAM tech over the long term to be not just vendor, but also rights holder.
