i think what happens is, academic is that there's a certain amount of risk oversion. So i could write three great papers, but if i put my name on something shoddy then that actually has a huge reputational risk. And so and there is definitely a additional amount of risk coversion that comes with that. But when you have provocative results that show up, that you submit to a journal, it is not going to get rejected just for being provocative. It'll get probed more, no case so.
