The Importance of Keeping a Relationship Strong Through Transitions

When I was your age is an expression that parents to just drop from their vocabulary. There's about a five-year difference in how long it takes to make the full transition into adulthood for when we compare the current generation with the previous generation. Today's new parents follow a very strict and rigid schedule for let's say feeding and sleeping than their parents did who were much more relaxed. You may see your child doing something that stuns you because it's not the way that you raise them and you may be tempted to comment on it.
