The Parallels Between Atomic Bomb and Artificial General Intelligence

When I was a boy, comic books were supposed to rot your brain. We didn't want to read that crap. After TV and then video games, now it's AI. So that's one level of response that I think is pretty predictable. And later we'll find its way. They'll settle down eventually as all these other things have - or unless people still are raving against the destructive power of movies and comic books to make people violent. But they're going to cause some real dilemmas in the world.
