I don't think I can ever remember a player getting quite this close to the end of their deal without having signed one. So it would be unusual for them to allow it to lapse. It's not impossible that it could happen that way. Like interestingly, at Manu, you've got a situation with David DeHea where his contract also ends June 30th,. And United are sort of hedging their bets a bit. They're in talks with him. If a takeover went through, I think ideally they'd let's buy a goalkeeper.
