The Neuro Chemical System of Rats
We share 98% of our genetic structure with rats. We haven't devolved from the common ancestor with rats, that long ago. The neura chemistry is similar right down to the level of crustaceans. When lobsters are defeated in a social contest they undergo neuro chemical changes analogous to those human beings go through. That's so amazing. Same damned drugs that help us anti depressents essentially also cheer up defeated lobsters. I mean, it's such a staggering demonstration of the inuity of biology across unbelievable spans of time.
