Restorative Food Justice - What Is It?

Restorative food justice is a commitment to economic, racial and restorative justice with mutual aid strategies that support formerly incarcerated people in their communities. The idea of bringing together people who have harmed and been harmed through some act, like, say, somebody robbed somebody else. In california, the recitivism rate at the time of my work was roughly about 65 % of people who were going back to prison within three years of being releasedd. And part of the issue for why that's happening is because people don't have many good economic opportunities or forms of social support.
