Do You Accept Offence When Someone Says, I Don't Like You or You're a Jerk?

Offence can only be taken to the extent that we believe in the credibility of the so called offender. My advice is to strengthen one's sense of self and expand our sense of what we are. I'm one with the universe. Universe can't be informed about what one self is by anybody who's attempting to offend you. It uses its own direct experience of what you are. That staying small and being good at defending your small self, that's not a functional and sustainable way. To be self defining is very important.
