The Death of Alexander the Great
Alexander the Great died in 323 BC, aged 32. His sudden death sparks rumours that he's been murdered. But it is just as likely to be down to natural causes. People weep at the news, running through the streets in panic. A bitter power struggle breaks out among his generals. The empire rapidly splits into warring factions. Around 360 parts of the area are destroyed by wars, riots and a tsunami. And the tomb of Alexander the Great is lost.
