The Importance of Stability in Kruso's Life
The book is a thought experiment to four places us right there with Kruso. The detailed descriptions of how he does this actually kind of connects up with the way in which science was developed around that period. We do get very technical accounts, don't we about how he goes about these tasks? He's making pots out of K, carving out canoes, drying grapes to make raisins for the winter,. raising goats and growing barley and rice, so he's got some grain.
