JavaScript Script - Is There a Pass by Reference?

In java script you really only pass barometers by value. There is no pass by reference in a jave script. When i pass an object into a function, ii pass the reference to that object. But what actually happens is that you pass the reference by value. That means the parometer that you pass in is not the object itself. And ther i don't remember why this happens, i just have to do it the other way. It's also been a pretty popular, like, whenever you have a like trick interview questions. This is a pretty popular one. However, it helps people like understand, like, do you know the javascript language? Or anyways, carry on.
